Despite the market being closed by the time we got there, it was really interesting to explore around the surrounding shops. I would have taken more photos of the window displays if my camera hadn’t died on me ; v;

I’m getting a weird thing for mixing embroidery and illustration. Getting more and more like an old lady by the day ~

I received a handmade postcard from ashdinosaur yesterday as part of her snail mail zine.  Still need to send my half of that otl, but I am going to make sure everything gets finished and sent off by this Friday!

Sometime tomorrow, I’ll post up photos of her beautiful photo postcard and message. I wanted to do it now, but the lighting in my room is terrible and doesn’t want to work with me ; n;

In the meantime, I’m going to dowse my insides with echinacea tablets and try and kill off this cold.

I’m currently curled up, all snugly in my jim jams, drinking some green & jasmine tea with a chunky cookie, whilst listening to this over and over again ~ ~

The weather outside has gotten a lot cooler this week … I suppose our Indian summer came to a quick end. However, I haven’t let it get me down. Today, I had an enjoyable walk home through the park and past the castle - I think if anyone had observed me strolling past, they probably thought I was either

a) A tourist

or

b) Not all there in the head - since I was dithering here, there and everywhere along the paths.

Along the tracks uphill, I stopped to pick up sycamore leaves and a couple of conkers for my room ( apparently they’re a good natural spider deterrent ). I did want to visit the big tree stump, where a beach tree had stood a few weeks ago before the wind blew it over, but it was getting quite dark and I don’t particularly like to walk through the cemetery on my own in the pitch black of the night. I’ll go back to visit the stump sometime soon I think - I want to see if I can hoist myself up to sit on it ; v;”

As for the rest of this evening, the tetris situation, that I always seem to face when it comes to packing, can wait a little longer; I haven’t been this calm in such a long time, so I want it to last as long as I possibly can drag it out for , v,
