* ZINE TIME ~
I received a handmade postcard from ashdinosaur yesterday as part of her snail mail zine. Still need to send my half of that otl, but I am going to make sure everything gets finished and sent off by this Friday!
Sometime tomorrow, I’ll post up photos of her beautiful photo postcard and message. I wanted to do it now, but the lighting in my room is terrible and doesn’t want to work...

* Wish you were here
I really enjoyed the ‘Wish You Were Here’ display; a cool interactive art piece in Manchester Art Gallery. They left little wooden pouches full of blank luggage tags, which you could then write / draw on. The idea was to say where you’d like to visit - imaginary or in real life - and then tie them onto the old-fashioned suitcases n vn
I had fun taking part and writing my own...

* Gummers Howe
Broski and I were beyond bored on Monday afternoon, so we decided whilst the weather was nice to go out for a drive and a little hike :> Gummers Howe is roughly 30 minute drive from the house, so it didn’t matter that by the time we’d worked out that was the spot we wanted to go it was heading towards 5pm.
One thing I love the most about taking the back roads around here...

* Frogs?

Out and about
I’ve surprisingly been gallivanting here, there, and everywhere the past couple of weeks, which is probably the complete polar opposite to what I usually do / what I am used to; sitting at home and have some enthralling thumb-twiddling sessions.
However, now I have received my summer brief for college, I need to try and knuckle down and try and work out how to incorporate my adventures out...

Sweet patchworks
I’ve recently been enjoying sewing bits of paper together to make collage / patchwork-esque little pieces. Sweet wrappers work out really well, and I love the vibrant colours that they tend to be.
The only problem is either;
a) I forget that I want to keep the wrapper, and throw them away.
b) The lack of sweet consumption I have been doing since I’ve left school.
